Running a beehive in small yard. Bad idea?

I have a courtyard about 80 square metres large, have young children, and I'd like to buy a beehive to make my own honey.
My family are opposed to the idea because they don't want the toddlers being stung, and I was told the bees will annoy the neighbours by flying through their windows and harassing them. It'd be in the corner of my yard in my vegetable patch, so I'd need to be right next to them when gardening.
I have no experience with bees so I don't know if it'll annoy everyone. I've seen a plastic beehive online selling for only $200 so as it seems pretty cheap I'm considering getting into this.
Anyone have experience with bees in a small yard? ?????ufabet

HI.
When the bees leave their hive they rise to the air some meters. They dont fly into houses but the will do that if there is honey in the house. If you live in a place where the bees can find nectar and pollen in 2-3 km area they can stay alive.
There are nice bees and bad bees but most bees are nice.
